Shenghui Cheng, a professor at the School of Journalism and Communication at Jinan University, serves as a doctoral supervisor and the editor-in-chief of the " Journalism and Communication Science Bulletin". He is also the Executive Director of the Artificial General Intelligence Media Center at Jinan University. Prof. Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, State University of New York, and has conducted research at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Harvard Medical School in the United States. He has served as a consultant for the Digital Economy Group at the World Bank (headquarters) and holds editorial, committee, and reviewer positions for over ten renowned journals and conferences. Additionally, he has more than ten domestic and international invention patents and is an expert reviewer for national and provincial-level projects. His primary research areas are visual intelligence and the digital economy. He has published over 40 papers and more than 10 monographs, including several bestsellers both domestically and internationally, which have been translated into English and distributed in multiple countries.
