Dr Wang holds a PhD in Management (Marketing direction) from the Business School at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and a MSc in Consumer Marketing from the University of Liverpool, UK. As a recipient of a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council, she was awarded a full scholarship by the University of Edinburgh and completed her doctoral studies.
In the field of higher education, Dr Wang has extensive years of experience in teaching and research within the UK higher education system and has earned the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) certification in October 2024. Drawing on her substantial teaching background, she is dedicated to fostering students' global perspectives and practical skills.
In the industry, Dr Wang has served in esteemed multinational corporations, including Cisco, gaining broad international management experience. She has also contributed as a research fellow at the UK's Maggie's Centre, engaging in a significant research project aimed at enhancing male cancer patients' well-being through non-medical charity services. Furthermore, she successfully founded and managed her own company in the UK, gaining hands-on experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.
