Dr. Sun holds a PhD in Management from the University of New South Wales in Australia, a Master in Education from Zhejiang University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Hefei University of Technology.

In the field of higher education, Dr. Sun has held management and teaching positions in the Business School of the University of New South Wales, the School of Management of the Australian National University and the School of Finance and Economics of Shanghai Business School. Courses taught include Foundation of Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship: Theory, Process and Practice.

In terms of industrial practice, Dr. Sun has worked for the Australian Procurement and Construction Council, H&T Real Estate Australia, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and the Yangtze River Delta Innovation Center of Zhejiang University, hosting or participating in a number of national-level industry projects.

Dr. Sun’s main research directions include Digital Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, Digital Transformation and External Enablement Theory.
