On 27th September 2024,thefounding member of ProGlobe, Senior Lecture Regina Braut lacht from Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Universityof AppliedSciences visitedour BusinessSchool during the International Week. She had an in-depth discussion withthestudents from the2022International Business--Human Resource Management direction, whowillparticipatethis year,guided by the program advisorAssociate Professor Hao CHEN. Reginasharedher insights andansweredstudents’questionsduring an info session to encourage studentstolearn and experience. Aformerprogramstudentand a German student were also visiting. They shared their cross-cultural collaboration experiences and program insights.

ProGlobe—Digital Project-Based Learning: Promotingthe Global Exchange of Ideas onSustainable Goals, Practices, and Cultural Diversityis an internationalcollaborationamongHochschuleBonn-RheinSieg, Universityof AppliedSciences, Germany,Fanshawe College,Canada,MiddleTennesseeStateUniversity, U.S.A., PolytechnicInstitute ofViseu,Portugal, and Shenzhen Technology University Business School, China.Itaims to encourage communication amongall five countries to raise awareness of the impact of environmental and social issues. In thisproject, students evaluate, discuss, and reflect on their sustainable practices. It offersstudents the opportunity to work in a global context and to understand global issues fromdifferent cultural perspectives, working against misconceptions and generalizations.
The Program’svision is to offer a platform for learning and collaborating with different students around theworld to share ideas on relevant global topics while working together on a joint interdisciplinaryproject that aims to create knowledge and foster global diversity. The program iscelebrating its 10th anniversary this yearandhasbeen awarded the European Commission's "European Language Label for Innovative Initiatives in Language Teaching and Learning".
