Congratulations to BS Students Winning National Third Prize in 2022 National Competition of Business Administration for College Students

Recently, hosted by China Creative Studies Institute and undertaken by School of Economics & Management of Tongji University, Shanghai Cehong Information Technology Co., Ltd, Youth Working Committee of China Creative Studies Institute, 2022 National Competition of Business Administration for College Students came to successful end. After the selection of intramural competitions, national regional competitions and national semi-finals, a total of 100 teams entered the national final competition, and the team of BS students finally won the National Third Prize.

The competition used Cehong International Enterprise Management Simulation Software as a special platform. Three students should be participated in the competition as a team to simulate the operation of a company. The team members should use the knowledge they have learned about to jointly formulate corporate strategies and make decisions as Production Department, Marketing Department, Logistics Department, Financial Department, etc. Through 6 rounds of simulated operation, each company was automatically scored and ranked according to seven indexes which are Sales Revenue, Net Profit, Earnings Per Share, Bond Rating, Current Ratio, Return on Equity, and Growth Potential of the sixth year.

With the guidance of Assistant Professor Zhang Jinyi, three students from Business School, Huang Yiyi, Huang Shan, and Liu Jiahui, formed the “Wang Wang Wang Wang” Team to participate in this sand table competition. In simulation games, participants analyzed the company's operating conditions each year through detailed indexes, such as Asset-Liability Ratio, Stock Issuance & Repurchase and Fund Sources of Owner's Equity, as well as reviewed the results of the simulation competition. In the final game, team members have responded flexibly to various situations in the competition and make appropriate decisions, and finally won the National Third Prize.
