Jack Woo and Markus Rach, Associate Professors from Business School made Sharing on Enterprise Digital Transformation and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) at Foreign Talents Salon organized by Longtian Sub-district Office

On June 1st, hosted by Longtian Sub-district Office, organized by Shenzhen Dongju Talent Development Co., LTD, Foreign Talents Salon -- Beneficial Trip for Enterprises: Digital Transformation and My learning as an European KOL with 1moillion followers was successfully held in Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship International Talent Community.

Associate Professor Jack Woo and Associate Professor Markus Rach from the Business School of Shenzhen University of Technology were invited to this exchange. Guests present include representatives from BYD, new energy vehicle enterprises; Huawei, new generation IT enterprises; Bangjian, bio-pharmaceutical enterprises; Pingshan state-owned enterprises. There were also young entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs members of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Shenzhen and members of ACCA International Association in South China.

During the activity, Associate Professor Jack Woo analyzed the digital transformation and pointed out that from the perspective of policy, the digital transformation is the trend. From the internal perspective of enterprises, digital transformation is the internal demand of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, business development, innovation and growth. The Associate Professor emphasized the "five key priorities" of digital transformation and the "three points and one line" of digital implementation, so as to further improve the business capability of enterprises and promote technological innovation of enterprises.

Associate Professor Markus Rach, based on his personal experience of being a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in the corporate and automotive industry in Europe, explained the selection criteria of KOL, the influence of advertising perception and source credibility on advertising perception, brand attitude (likes) and subsequent purchase intention formation, and the influence of subjective norms on planned behavior. At the same time, he listed common misunderstandings of short video makers, in order to help short video enterprises effectively avoid problems, break industry barriers and activate the development energy.

After sharing their view, Associate Professors had an active discussion with the participants, such as how to realize the digital transformation according to their industry type. Aiming at new marketing, talents from Chinese and foreign enterprises compared the different standards and influences of European brands and Chinese brands in the selection of KOL.

Through this activity, the participants can be more clear about the new planning and new trends of their industry, so that enterprises accelerate their progress under the new development trend.
