From June 26-28, 2025, the '2025 International Conference on Intelligent Optimization and Big Data Management' (IOBDM) was grandly held at Wuhan Business University. The conference was guided by Hubei Provincial Association for Science and Technology and jointly organized by Wuhan Business University, Chizhou University, Wuhan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, and Hubei E-commerce Industry Association. This conference was selected as a funded project under the 'International Academic Conference Cultivation Program' by Hubei Provincial Association for Science and Technology in 2025, marking another high-level academic event following its coverage by the China Association for Science and Technology in 2024.
This international conference featured keynote speeches by several university presidents, academicians, and SCI/SSCI journal editors-in-chief, providing attendees with a high-level academic feast. More than 100 experts, scholars, business representatives, and university faculty and students from both domestic and international backgrounds gathered in the 'River City' (Wuhan). Under the theme 'Intelligence Drives Innovation, Data Empowers the Future,' they engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge fields such as intelligent optimization, big data management, and artificial intelligence applications.
The conference was organized into three parallel sessions: a journal session, a reporting session, and an industry-university-research collaboration session. Among them, the journal session chaired by Associate ProfessorRegina Fang-Ying Lin from the Business School attracted significant attention, bringing together 13 renowned SSCI/CSSCI journal editors-in-chief, associate editors, and editorial board members from across China. As the session chair, Associate ProfessorRegina Fang-Ying Lin excellently organized and guided the entire segment. The session atmosphere was lively, with participating experts engaging in in-depth exchanges on topics such as academic publishing trends, techniques for writing high-quality papers, and submission strategies, providing valuable academic guidance for attending scholars.
