Professor Hak proudly represented SZTU Business School at the GBA Switzerland Economic Forum 2025, held in Dongguan on June 19–20. As a distinguished panellist on the topic of "AI and Art in Business," he contributed to an engaging discussion on creative disruption versus job displacement and other critical challenges and opportunities brought about by AI in international business.

The forum attracted a prestigious audience, including the economic mission from Canton de Vaud to China, senior diplomats such as the Swiss ambassador to China, and representatives from leading businesses and state institutions. Participants exchanged business insights and forged valuable connections, highlighting the event's dynamic blend of thought leadership and networking.

The event included a visit to the Sino-Swiss Inno Park, a hub specializing in the watch and jewellery industries, as well as Hettich FGV, a global leader in high-end hinge technology for the furniture business. The German family-owned Hettich recently expanded its portfolio by acquiring Italy's FGV in 2024, underscoring its commitment to diversifying its product range across market segments.
