12 April2024, Assistant Professor Xu Xin from Business School visited Shine wing’s Shenzhen branch and inspected the internship students at the company. The purpose of this activity is to understand the students' internship situation and provide them with more targeted guidance and advice.

The Shenzhen branch of Shine wing is part of the Shine wing Group, established in 2005 and located in Futian District, Shenzhen. It provides professional services in auditing, accounting, taxation, costing and consulting to listed companies, state-owned enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises. The business involves a variety of industries, such as biomedical, electronic information, finance and so on.

In the spacious and bright conference room, the professor had a fruitful and in-depth communication with the instructors of Shine wing. Through the dialogue with the supervisors, the professor got a detailed understanding of the students' performance during the internship, the challenges they encountered, as well as their views and feelings about the internship. They then discussed the many issues that interns face in practice, including the transition from theoretical knowledge to practical work, management of work pressure, and career development planning. The professor and the internship supervisor put forward a series of practical suggestions and solutions on how to assist the interns to overcome these problems. On this basis, the professors and mentors also had a profound discussion on key topics such as the career prospects of interns, industry development trends, and companies' demand for talents. Combining the perspective of an educator, the professor offered insightful views on the future career path of the interns. Meanwhile, the internship supervisors revealed the latest developments in the industry, enterprises' desire for professionals, and their attitudes towards examinations and professional qualifications from the standpoint of enterprises.

The event highlighted the College's concern for students' internship and career development, as well as its new exploration of co-operation with enterprises. Mrs. Xu's visit helps optimize teaching and talent cultivation, provides students with more opportunities to integrate into society and realize their self-worth, and promotes their professional growth in the workplace.
