2023 October 10, Joe Zhang of SS & Partner, a brand consulting firm provides cross-border e-commerce and multinational brand management to Chinese brands. SS & Partners, formally known as “Seller Success”, has branches in 7 countries and regions around the world.  It empowering China-brands to grow overseas andgenerating more sales by proprietary growth strategy.

Joe Zhang shared an inspiring topics on Chinese innovativeenterprises - "Going Overseas". He spoke on the topic of “How innovative companies in China implement overseas branding strategies for sustainable growth?” How observes that the domestic consumer market is gradually saturated, and competition pressure is increasing. Chinese brands need to explore overseas markets. A large number of small and medium-sized innovative enterprises are more dynamic and flexible, and can "fly underthe radar". The construction of "localization" shouldn't be a “vanity project”, it needs to play as the company's overseas strategy. Japanese and Korean companies "going overseas" earlier and overcome the bottleneck of development. Chinese innovative companies are taking the lead now.

Brand overseas reflects the company's comprehensive capabilities - financing capabilities, financial management, legal management, transnational management, supply chain and logistics management, channel management, after-sales service, digital capabilities, brand management, marketing...

His speech was attended by over 130 students from International Business major. About 16 students continued to stay after the sharing session to enquire about potential internship opportunities. SS & Partner is rapidly growing and require additional manpower in brand services, channel services, merger and acquisition, supply chain management and corporate services.
