Professor Eric Tsui at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Associate Professor Liu Gang at Shenzhen Technology University, were invited by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council to deliver a seminar on "Tacit knowledge Retention and Transfer" on 23 August 2022. More than 7,600 people attended this online seminar around the world.
This seminar centers on tacit knowledge management in organizations. The two speakers discussed six aspects: what is tacit knowledge, knowledge management, knowledge blockade and why knowledge leakage occurs, how to retain and transfer knowledge, and knowledge management and organizational performance. This seminar was conducted using metaverse technology, and the audience can also experience this specific application of knowledge management.
