Dr. Yi Liu holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Wisconsin in the United States and completed postdoctoral research in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at Sun Yat-sen University. His research focuses on ESG Asset Pricing, Political Uncertainty, and Risk Propagation.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Chemistry from Sun Yat-sen University in 2007, Dr. Yi Liu studied, worked, and lived in the United States for 12 years. He earned two Master's degrees, one in Marketing and another in Finance, and has extensive experience teaching courses in English, including Principles of Finance, Intermediate Finance, and Derivatives Market.

Since returning to China in 2019, Dr. Yi Liu has been committed to the development of local small and micro private enterprises. He has maintained close cooperation and shared interests with several small and micro private enterprises in Shenzhen.
