Prof. Jiang graduated from Universität Hamburg with juris doctor in 2005. Currently he is the Professor of SZTU Business School.

Before joining SZTU, Prof. Jiang worked in CDHK and Law School of Tongji University (2006 - 2010) and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (2012 - 2023), teaching International Economic Law, International Investment Law, Business Law, Intellectual Property Law. He was also visiting scholar of Bucerius Law School, Hamburg and University of Bonn in Germany.

Prof. Jiang also works as arbitrator for various arbitration institutions incl. Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Arbitration Commission in Ningbo, Nanjing, Kunming etc. and is member of Shanghai Arbitration Expert Pool, Fudan University Thinktank, ITTN as well as Consultant for UN ITC.

He is qualified as Chinese Lawyer and as member of Hamburg Law Association. He worked full time or part-time as General Counsel, member of BoD for Stock-listed Companies including State-owned enterprises, German Company, Norwegian Company and Shanghai-based MNC etc., and has rich experience in dealing with cross-border M&A, IP Disputes, complicated business dispute settlement home and abroad.

He published plenty of articles, books and translations, incl. International Economic Law, Economic Analysis of Law, Selective Cases of European Intellectual Property etc. and had chaired research projects funded by Shanghai Pujiang Talent Plan, Shanghai Development and Research Center, EU-China IPR Project II etc.
