Dr. Jack WOO, Associate Professor and Shenzhen Fintech Association arranged a FinTech Talent Development Sharing Session with students from the School of Big Data and Internet

Financial and financial technology talents are an important part of China's talent team, and an important force for maintaining market economic order, promoting economic and social development, and promoting accounting reform and development. From the perspective of opportunities, China has entered a stage of high-quality development, on the one hand, the majority of financial and financial talents actively play a greater role in tapping the potential of economic growth, optimizing the economic structure, strengthening accounting supervision, preventing and resolving major risks, improving the development level and competitiveness of the accounting service industry, and promoting sustainable and healthy economic and social development. On the other hand, a new round of technological revolution represented by information technology, digital technology and artificial intelligence has spawned new industries, new formats and new models, and a high demand for financial technology talents. Financial entrepreneurs need to deeply apply new technologies, solve financial valuation and pricing problems, and promote the highly integrated development of financial technology. Financial technologists are compound financial technology talents, with comprehensive capabilities to engage in the research and application of financial business and digital technology integration and promote implementation, and complete digital financial application research, product design, R&D coordination, tracking and evaluation, business operations, etc.


Recently, Dr. Jack WOO, Associate Professor of the Business School of Shenzhen University of Technology, and the Shenzhen Fintech Association arranged sharing session on the development of fintech talents with students from the School of Big Data and Internet. We invited Ms. Zhu Qinqin, Director of Certification Center of Shenzhen Fintech Association to the sharing session. Ms. Zhu Qinqin graduated from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics with a bachelor's degree in international finance and a master's degree in financial technology and financial analysis from Hong Kong Baptist University. Ms. Zhu Qinqin worked in the Shenzhen Branch and Head Office of the Agricultural Bank of China, and also served as the Deputy Director of the Park Operation Department in the Shenzhen Fintech Association. During her work, Ms. Zhu Qinqin realized that the financial industry is constantly innovating, fintech is playing an increasingly empowering role in finance, and the fintech industry is changing with each passing day, and the demand for fintech talents is also growing exponentially. What kind of talent is FinTech talent? In this sharing session, Ms. Zhu Qinqin will discuss the development direction of fintech talents based on her own study experience and 7 years of work experience.
