On July 1, 2023, Associate Professor Jack WOO of the School of Business was appointed as a special expert of Shenzhen Fintech Association for two years. As a distinguished expert, Associate Professor Jack WOO will actively participate in the work of the association in technical exchanges, resource docking and large-scale activities, and discuss the frontier trends of financial technology with other conferences and experts of the association, and share the experience and results of innovation and development.

Shenzhen Fintech Association (hereinafter referred to as "STA"), founded in 2005, is a local, professional, non-profit technology-oriented social organization composed of financial institutions and related financial technology enterprises, and is also a 5A-level social organization in Shenzhen, and is also the most distinctive and active financial CIO community in China. The association is currently chaired by Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with a total of about 190 member units, covering influential financial institutions and technology enterprises such as Ping An, WeBank, Guosen Securities, Bosera Fund, Huawei, Tencent and so on.
