Lecture Recap | SZTU Business School 2026 Graduation Thesis (Design) Briefing Session

On the afternoon of Friday, October 10, 2025, the Business School successfully held a thematic lecture titled "Graduation Thesis (Design) Briefing Session" in Lecture Hall 106 of Building C5. Hosted by Teacher Li Xueqi from the Business School and delivered by Associate Professor Chen Hao, the lecture was attended by all students of the 2022 cohort.


01 Part 1

At the outset, Vice Dean Li Jie emphasized in his opening speech that students should reasonably arrange their course schedules and make-up course arrangements, take their academic responsibilities seriously, and avoid delayed graduation due to poor time management. He particularly noted that corporate campus recruitment sessions are crucial opportunities to secure high-quality jobs, as companies' special trips to the university demonstrate their sincerity and clear recruitment intentions. Vice Dean Li also shared the latest updates on corporate recruitment and further study programs on-site, encouraging students to actively seize these opportunities.

02 Part 2

Subsequently, Teacher Li Xueqi elaborated on the process arrangements and key timelines for the graduation thesis (design), including teacher-student mutual selection, topic selection, and proposal defense. This helped students clarify their task objectives and arrange their progress scientifically.

03 Part 3

From a methodological perspective, Associate Professor Chen Hao systematically shared practical skills and academic standards for thesis writing, providing actionable suggestions to help students improve the quality of their theses and standardize the writing process.

The lecture comprehensively and clearly explained the entire graduation thesis process, covering policy documents, workflow procedures, section requirements, and management regulations. It highlighted key points from both the school's work perspective and students' attention points, emphasizing that students must fully recognize the necessity and importance of the graduation thesis.

Students present expressed great satisfaction with the lecture, stating that they gained a clear understanding of the subsequent thesis writing process. It is expected that students will integrate the knowledge and skills learned into practice and ultimately complete high-quality theses that meet their own expectations!
