On August 20, 2025, Associate ProfessorDr. CHENHao, Director of the Business Case Center, was invited to attend the2025 CaseExpertCommittee AnnualSymposiumorganized by the Global Platform of China Cases (ChinaCases.Org). Thesymposiumwas held at the Shanghai campus of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), bringing together over 40 reviewers and editorsfrom across the country to engage in in-depth discussions on the development and evaluation of teaching cases.
During the conference, ProfessorCHENShimin, Associate Dean of CEIBS, Director of the Case Center, and Editor-in-Chief of ChinaCases.Org, provided a detailed interpretation of the case evaluationcriteria. He emphasized that review quality is crucialandparticularly highlighted that“throughastep-by-step guidance,the casediscussionshouldenable students to extract universally applicable frameworks and management logicthrough caseanalysis.” The afternoon session, chaired by Dr.HUANGXiayan, Head of the Operations Teamat the case center, focused on the phenomenon of“framework-fitwriting”and issues related to AI-generated content, sparking lively discussions. At the end, ProfessorCHENShiminawarded the“5-Year Service Awards”andthe“10-Year Service Awards”to experts who had participated in case reviews, thanking them for their contributions to the development of the casecenter.
Dr.CHENHao, who currently serves as theareaeditor for“Human Resources and Organizational Behavior”on the EditorialBoardof ChinaCases.Org, received the“10-Year Service Award”at the event.

Under the support and guidance of the school,the Business Case Center has actively organized case trainingevents for faculty, expanded case collaborationswith scholars in other universities, and developed cases in partnership withChinese companies since its establishment.Cases written by our faculty have beenpublishedin internationally influential casecenterssuch as the ChinaBusinessCaseCenter (Tsinghua SEM)and the HarvardBusinessCases.
The Global Platform of China Cases (ChinaCases.Org) publishesover 300 new cases annually and has a collection of 3,388 cases.More than 150 domesticuniversities/schoolshave purchased it.Casespublishedhave beenusedby over 1,100universities/schoolsworldwide, with cumulative usage exceeding 700,000times.
