On the afternoon of April 7, 2024, the signing ceremony for the high-quality student source base between Shenzhen Technology University and Zhuhai Doumen No.1 High School was successfully held at Zhuhai Doumen No.1 High School. This event marks a new beginning for deepening cooperation and jointly nurturing talent between the two institutions, aiming to provide better educational resources and development platforms for students at Doumen No.1 High School.

Deepen cooperation and jointly nurture the future

The ceremony officially began at 15:30 in the afternoon. Li Jie, Deputy Dean of the Business School at Shenzhen Technology University and Distinguished Professor of Pengcheng Peacock, led the delegation, which included Associate Professor Wang Yunxia, Director of International Business; Associate Professor Liu Gang; Office Director Lu Liping; and Teaching and Administrative Manager Li Xueqi. Yuan Changlin, Party Secretary and Principal of Doumen No.1 High School in Zhuhai, along with relevant school leaders, the head of the teaching office, and teacher representatives, also participated.

The event consists of four segments: First, both parties introduce their distinctive educational features, achievements in talent cultivation, and future plans; then, a ceremony for the "Admissions High Quality Student Base" plaque presentation and signing takes place to officially establish the partnership; next, both sides delve into specific measures for building the student base, exploring new pathways for collaborative education; finally, all participants take a group photo to commemorate this significant moment.

Experts' lectures help students grow

After the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Liu Gang delivered a master's lecture and recruitment presentation titled "Unveiling Low-altitude Economy: The Leap from Dream to Reality" for the students of Doumen No.1 High School. Nearly 1,200 students participated in the event. The lecture delved into cutting-edge scenarios such as drone logistics and urban air transportation, integrating Shenzhen Technology University's deep integration of industry, academia, research, and innovation in its educational model. It analyzed the technological breakthroughs and commercialization paths in the low-altitude economy industry chain, focusing on the forefront of disciplines and career development. The aim was to broaden students' horizons, ignite their passion for learning, and provide guidance for their future academic advancement and major selection.

This cooperation is not only a reflection of the resource sharing and complementary advantages of the two universities, but also injects new vitality into the connection between basic education and higher education in Zhuhai. The two sides said that they will continue to deepen exchanges with high-quality student base as the link, and make joint efforts to cultivate innovative talents.
