Professor Wang Qian was invited to participate in the Pingshan District Digital Commerce and Trade Industry Development Salon

In the afternoon of December 18th, Professor Wang Qian, the Deputy Director of the Marketing Program at the Shenzhen Technology University Business School, was invited to attend the first edition of the Digital Commerce and Trade Industry Development Salon held in Pingshan District. Professor Wang Qian joined government officials from the Pingshan District Commerce Bureau, executives from various companies, and representatives from other institutions and colleges to discuss the development of the digital commerce and trade industry in Pingshan District.

At the beginning of the event, the Director of the Pingshan District Commerce Bureau, Mr. Liu, introduced the basic situation, policy support, and unique advantages such as the business environment of Pingshan's commerce and trade development. Experts from the Qianzhan Industry Research Institute shared the development pathway for Pingshan's cross-border e-commerce industrial park, emphasizing that Pingshan should strengthen the construction and operation of such parks to promote the deep integration of digital technology and the commerce and trade industry, a viewpoint that was widely acknowledged.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of attracting and cultivating digital talents, appealing for the establishment of a comprehensive digital ecosystem to drive the sustainable development of digital commerce and trade through innovation. In order to aid this development of Pingshan's digital commerce and trade industry, Professor Wang Qian expressed that the Shenzhen Technology University Business School will actively participate in and carry out digital talents training and education process.

Participants in this event agreed that Pingshan has a solid foundation for developing the digital commerce and trade industry, and it is imperative to promote high-quality development in this sector. After the meeting, participants visited the Pingshan Rural Revitalization Consumption Assistance Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Center, gaining in-depth insights into the integration practices of rural revitalization and digital commerce and trade, and experiencing the new opportunities and vitality brought by digital technology to agricultural product sales.

This event provided valuable ideas and directions for the subsequent development of Pingshan's digital commerce and trade industry.
