On July 26, 2023, invited by Counseling Research and Training Center, Faculty of Psychology, Southwest University, Associate Professor Hao Chen of our school served as a keynote speaker at the onsite event of Responsible Welfare Lottery Action Week “Witnessing Good Things Happening”.

The event focused on “Corporate Responsibility”, Prof. Chen shared her latest research in the area of corporate responsibility, discussed with the audience the characteristics of management evolution as a field, Chinese companies’ cases, the stakeholder perspective and new directions of corporate responsibility, etc.

The other guest speaker, Prof. Fahui Yang, Director of Counseling Research and Training Center, Faculty of Psychology, Southwest University, shared the characteristics, development direction, and practices of Responsible Welfare Lottery.

At the end of the event, both professors joined a discussion with Chongqing Welfare Lottery’s management team to share views on future of corporate responsibility and how to connect with a wider range of stakeholders through innovation to create value.

The Counseling Research and Training Center is affiliated with Faculty of Psychology, Southwest University, and is a member of the Chongqing supervisory of Clinical and Counseling Psychology Registration System (CCPRS) in China. Chongqing Welfare Lottery was established in 1988 with the approval of the Municipal Government, specializing in welfare lottery issuance and management. It adheres to the development concept of “Welfare Lottery and Responsibility Coexist”, and has many effective and innovative practices in fulfilling its social responsibility.
