SZTU Business School Signs MoU with Kashui Group

On 4th November, SZTU Business School signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ka Shui Group.



The meeting was held at Ka Shui premises from 10:00-12:30, Prof. Holger Haldenwang, Dean of Business School, Prof. Gordana Kierans, Assistant Prof. Zhuoqi Ding, Executive Secretary Liping Lu and Prof. Naixiao Zhu from Jinan University attended the meeting.


 

On behalf of Ka Shui Group, Mr Yuanfa Lee (Chairman of Ka Shui Group and FITMI), Norman Chan (Director of Enterprise Development), Carolina Yu Wai Shan (General Manager of Enterprise Academy), Jie Zhu (General Manager of Industry-University-Research Center), Qingwei Meng (Deputy General Manager of Light Alloy Center) and Qingwei Meng (Vice Chairman of FITMI) attended the meeting.
 

Prof. Holger Haldenwang, Dean of Business School, delivered an introductory presentation about SZTU and Business School at the meeting. He emphasized that SZTU fully draws on international advanced applied science university experience, and actively establishes new strategic partnerships with industry associations, leading enterprises and scientific research institutes;SZTU will be built into a new height for application-oriented technical skills training, cutting-edge technology research and development, talent innovation and entrepreneurship.


Mr.Yuanfa Lee, Chairman of Ka Shui Group, extended a warm welcome to SZTU Business School at the meeting. Norman Chan, Director of Enterprise Development, introduced the R&D and technology innovation about Ka Shui and Light Alloy Center. Qingwei Meng, Vice Chairman of FITMI, introduced FITMI and hoped that there would be further cooperation between FITMI and SZTU in the fields of industry, university and research.


Afterwards, SZTU Business School was invited to visit Ka Shui Industrial Culture Center and the National Light Alloy Innovation Center of intelligent casting industry and 3D Printing Workshop, which made us have a deeper understanding of the industrial history of Ka Shui, the status and prospects of 3D printing technology and 3D printing products of the Light Alloy Center, laying a foundation for further cooperation intention in the future.


Finally, after in-depth discussions and field visits, SZTU Business School and Ka Shui Group signed a memorandum of University-Enterprise Cooperation. In the future, the two sides will make use of complementary advantages, innovate and develop talent training, actively explore the integration and linkage of regional industry development, and strive to build a school-enterprise collaborative innovation system to achieve in-depth integration of industry, university and research.



Note: Established in 1997, FITMI (Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries) is a federation with totally 35 associations, with over 2,000 units of corporation and personal members, and has included over a million employment in both Hong Kong and China.
