The 5th International Conference on Engineering & Management (ICEM 2020) was held in Changsha, China from September 18 to 20, 2020. This conference mainly focused on the new theory, method and application of engineering and management, aiming to provide an international cooperation and exchange platform for experts, scholars and enterprise developers.

Professor Wang Hua of Business School was served as the Conference Chairman. He gave the opening welcome speech for the all audiences and resided over the whole conference, and commented on each oral presentation.

The research areas in the conference covered the interdisciplinary subjects of education, finance and advanced technology such as Artificial Intelligence, etc. The conference also paved way for young researchers in acquiring knowledge and information by meeting the experts. 

The participants were not only from the domestic, but also from UK, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, China. The topics were such as “using artificial intelligence for speaking practice in EFL context”, “financial logic to social logic: curriculum reform of entrepreneurship education in colleges provides talents for charity education in China”, and “Access and Success: Open Educational Resources for ODeL in Pandemic Crisis”, etc.

In this exciting event, the whole conference was intensive and fruitful and there was a very warm and inspiring atmosphere in the audience.

After Professor Wang gave the short closing remarks at the closing ceremony, the conference closed successfully.
