Dr. Jack Woo and Three Students from Business School Successfully Participate in the ViMoAll International Conference

On May 13, 2023, Associate Professor Jack Woo and three students (Ruan Zhixin, Chen Sijing, and Tong Xin) from Business School, successfully attended the first virtual mobility international conference, "Teaching and Learning in a Connected World," organized by Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Science. This conference was aimed to bring together educators worldwide to discuss the integration of digital technology and international activities, as well as to promote global collaboration among higher education institutions.

During the conference, Dr. Jack Woo presented the research findings of his team on the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in Chinese universities, focusing on the current situation and innovative applications. Notably, some leading universities in China are at the forefront of open innovation and development in the field of educational technology, and Shenzhen Technology University is one of them. Currently, Business School is actively exploring the utilization of Microsoft Education Platform to improve teaching management and enhance the teaching experience for both teachers and students.

Dr. Jack Woo’s sharing received enthusiastic responses from the participants, who expressed agreement with their viewpoints. Thought-provoking questions were raised, providing further inspiration on their shared ideas. This conference not only fostered teaching innovation and knowledge sharing but also injected more vitality and imagination into the future of the education sector. Additionally, it set a great example for actively promoting teachers' and students' participation in international conferences and engaging in global academic exchanges.
