Dear students,

First of all, I hope and wish you are doing well and that you have enjoyed the vacations with your families and friends, recovered well from the efforts of the last semester and especially the many celebrations for the New Year of the Dragon.

The new semester has already begun and time has flown by. While some of you are now in your second year of study (and therefore no longer freshmen), students on other courses are now in their third and even fourth year. In particular, the latter students on the International Business course will receive their Bachelor's certificate at the end of this semester after completing their Bachelor's thesis and passing one or two examinations.  

Other students will only be at SZTU for a relatively short time in the new semester because they are doing their internships, for which I wish them many interesting insights and new knowledge.

Dear students, you will all be expected to perform well this semester, which I am convinced you will master with flying colors. However, this requires commitment, persistence, diligence, a certain degree of ambition, punctuality and team spirit. The latter in particular is always easier if you sit down together and discuss the material you have learned or are about to learn and help each other.

Nevertheless, it is generally known that you should not be too tense or too ambitious despite all the work you have to do. It's all about finding the right balance. You have to take breaks from time to time and also enjoy student life. Be it that you are involved in sport, art, music or social activities and thus enrich campus life.

I wish you all a good start to the new semester and a successful and smooth course.

亲爱的同学们：

首先，我希望大家都过得很好，和家人、朋友们一起度过了一个愉快的假期，已从上学期的奋战努力中恢复过来，并欢庆了农历“龙”年的到来。

时间飞逝，新学期已然开始。一部分同学现在开始了第二年的学习（已经不再称为新生了），其他同学也进入了第三年、甚至第四年的学习。值得一提的是，国际商务专业的大四学生在完成毕业论文并通过一至两门考试后，将在本学期末获得属于他们的学士学位证书。

也有另一部分同学在新学期只会在学校停留很短一段时间，因为他们即将开展实习，我希望他们能通过实习获得更多有趣的见解和新的知识。

亲爱的同学们，在新学期你们都被寄予厚望，相信你们一定能表现出色并以优异的成绩顺利完成各门课程。当然，这需要你拥有承诺、坚持、勤奋、适当的抱负、守时信念和团队协作精神。对于后者，如果你能和伙伴们一起坐下来复习或预习学习材料，互相帮助，你会发现很容易就实现团队协作。

尽管这一切需要你付出诸多努力，但也无须太过紧张、太过雄心勃勃。关键是要找到一个合适的平衡点。学习之余，也需要间断性的休息，也要好好享受学生生活。可以通过参加体育、艺术、音乐或社交活动，从而丰富你的校园生活。

祝大家新学期有一个好的开始，课程学习也一切顺利。
